The following are the messages given by Papal Nuncio to the Philippines His Most Excellency Rev Fr Gabriele G. Caccia, DD on Feb. 6, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Cathedral during the Dialogue with the Youth. This transcription were taken from Diocese of Kalibo FB page.
"The church and the Pope cares for you, young people. I am here on behalf of Pope Francis to being grace. Each one is very important. This year is dedicated to the youth. You are Beloved.
Beloved - what has make you happy in your experience and what makes you very sad about your life as a young people?
You are a Filipino in mission......Gifted, Beloved and Empowered
Maybe you are facing difficulties now. The adults are busy, while others are not interested, you feel abandoned and unloved. It is difficut to bear and takes out all the joy, it brings us to despair, depression and feelings that you are not important.
On the contrary, if we experience the love we feel...we are happy .....when we are growing up happy we then feel important for somebody else.
We should always remember that in the eyes of God ...of Jesus.... each one of us is very important and always beloved.
There is Somebody behind me with arms open. He said, "For you I have given my life; For you I have always time. You can come to me always my Beloved, for I am with you."
Anytime you see the cross, remember how much Jesus loves you and me. We are never abandoned when we are with Jesus. He is always with us. If we understand and feel this experience our life changes. We feel the strenght of Jesus in us. If Jesus is with us who can be against us. In all diffuculties we are stronger, because Jesus is with us.
What I say to you is out of truth. With Jesus there is salvation. He forgave even those who killed Him, those who are attacking us in the name of Jesus, He forgives, because forgiving them is a way to salvation. If we know and we feel that Jesus loves us, we in this life are a happy person. We love and rejoice and it's the most precious treasure when Jesus loves us.
Final question, do you want to let Jesus enter in your life? Is it easy to let Jesus enter in our life?
To say yes to Jesus, we have to say no to what is against Jesus. If you want to follow Jesus we say no and we don't take and take...but we share. When we are at peace and in joy, it is the sign of the presence of Jesus in us.
Yes to Jesus? In the meantime say no to what is againts Him..
Lastly, we need to be somebody who lives the Gospel. Do not just read the Gospel.... live the Gospel. Witness through the Gospel, the beauty, love and joy of Jesus." ❤

"If you are happy in your family it means your family is doing well. If in the family there is something that is not right, then the people in the family is not good. Ask yourself, how can I help to make a difference?
It is not actually about the structure. The structure can be either good or bad because of the the people in it. The people within the structure must be united, able to listen because listening is beautiful.....it's not the family but it's the way each one is doing.....depending on the people.
Whenever we find ourselves in a difficult situation, ask ourselves how we can change the situation or do good examples that is useful.
If you are a family with good experience, ask what can I do to make it better? How can I help the family not to repeat the same error?"

"Look at the people who are persecuted openly and mocked openly.... find strenght in them. If the enemies of the church steal from us, if we allow them to take out the love from us, we are dead Christians. In time of persecution, I tell you not to resist but pray for your enemies. Remember that the love of God is deeper than the age of its people. We lose life if we allow them to take the love of Jesus in us. Instead, be a living Christians. Take persecution and rejection as a test to see how deep Jesus love is in each one of us even to those who make bad things to us. God said, "I forgive you if you forgive your enemies." Always look at Jesus on the cross. Don't let difficulties take out the love in your life. Don't lose your faith in Him."

"Some people attract attention in a desperate ways especially in a wealthy society. That they feel adults have no time to listen to them...it is painful, indeed.
Rejection, fears and depression is a kind of cry for help. Pope Francis said, "Maybe your parents are busy or working too hard to send you to school. Try to talk with your grandparents... with elderly people because they have time. Being close to the end of life they know what is immortal, they are a good and wise adviser."
It is also the same feelings of the elderly people that they too, has no one to talk with about their sentiments in life. Make an alliance with them and you will receive wisdom. They give you hope and you give them hope at the same time.
Anytime we feel that no one wants to listen to us, cut the chain by doing something good or go to an elderly and talk. This changes the world. Learn from sufferings and bad experiences, since sometimes they are a grace that makes our eyes open to see the sufferings of others."

"The expectation of the church from you is also the expectation of Jesus. What Jesus expects from us is that He wants us to learn to listen to Him and give time to listen to Him.
Ask ourselves, "Where I am now?"
It is hard now adays to make people stay in the same place without their cellphones. We don't give attention to the real person because we are too much involve with our gadgets. Be attentive to the real person.
Always follow the good inspirations, continue your contribution and listen to good inspirations. Maybe that inspiration is what God wants us to do and that is something positive for others. "Dont be afraid for I am with you. I will sustain you."
As a youth leader may I ask, "What makes you fruitful and fear the Lord?"
Let us make the society a little bit better than what it is now."
