PAGTSI-TSIMIS SA BAYAN NG BALETE MAY KAUKULANG PENALIDAD NA

MAY KAUKULANG penalidad na ang mga nagtsi-tsimis sa bayan ng Balete kasunod ng ordinansa na inaprubahan ng pamahalaang lokal.

Ayon sa Municipal Ordinance no. 080 series of 2018, ang pagtsi-tsimis ay pagpapakalat ng mga maling kuwento o ulat patungkol sa pribado at personal na bagay sa iba ng walang pahintulot.

Paliwanag ng "Anti-Tsimis Ordinance of Balete" na ang pagtsitsimis ay sumisira sa relasyon ng pamilya at sa kapayapaan ng komunidad.

Pinaliwanag rin sa ordinansa na naging pabigat na sa mga opisyal ng barangay ang mga kasong inihahain sa kanila laban sa miyembro rin ng pamilya o kapitbahay dahil sa tsimis.

Sa probisyon ng ordinansa, ang nagpapakalat ng tsimis o maling balita at impormasyon, tradisyonal man o sa social media ay pagmumultahin ng hindi bababa sa Php2,000 o 24 oras na community service.

Inaatasan naman ng ordinansa ang mga Punong Barangay sa sampung Barangay ng bayan na magsagawa ng kaukulang rules and regulations ng nasabing ordinansa.

Ang mga opisyal ng barangay at ang mga tanod ang itatalagang mga ordinance officers para sa pagpapatupad nito.

Sumailalim na sa pagdinig ng Committee on Laws and Ordinances ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan ang Municipal Ordinance na ito araw ng Lunes at inaprubahan.##

LIBERTAD FIRST DRUG-CLEARED MUNICIPALITY IN ANTIQUE

THE PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 6 (PDEA RO6) and Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) recognized Libertad as the first drug-free municipality in the Province of Antique, which was greatly appreciated by its local officials, employees and residents.

On October 8, 2018, during the traditional Monday flag raising ceremony of Antique Police Provincial Office (ANPPO), Libertad Mayor Mary Jean N. Te received certificate of recognition from ANPPO Director, Police Senior Superintendent Leo Irwin P. Agpangan for being the first drug-cleared municipality in the province, which was certified by the Regional Oversight Committee on Drug-Clearing Operation headed by Dir. Wardley M. Getalla, Former Director, PDEA RO 6 after all its 19 barangays had complied with the parameters as set forth in section 8, Dangerous Board Regulation No. 3 series of 2017.

The committee composed of regional directors of PDEA, Philippine National Police, Department of Interior and Local Government and Department of Health conformed after due deliberation that Libertad has proven that all its barangays were drug-free, all drug surenderers undergone Community Based Drug Rehabilitation Program, and proactive programs and strategies have been enforced by its local officials to prevent illegal drug re-entry and raising awareness in every sectors through anti-drug awareness programs.

Mayor Te thanked her local PNP headed by Police Senior Inspector Bryan I. Alamo, barangay officials, members of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council and other stakeholders for their support in their fight against illegal drugs. She acknowledged their vital role in the municipality’s most valuable accomplishment.

“It is a great honor to be declared as the first drug-cleared town in the province. Let me share to you the secret why we achieve this. It was done with a great partnership and collaboration with our local PNP and other stakeholders. It was done with unity among all members of the community.” Mayor Te said to the PNP officials and members of ANPPO.

Meanwhile, Alamo considered the recognition as a big challenge to the local PNP under his leadership, he said “Libertad being declared a drug-cleared municipality is not just an accomplishment but it is also a responsibility, a big tasked and a challenge for us to maintain its present status. We will continue our effort to fulfill the mandate of our present administration and that is to free our community from illegal drugs for everyone to enjoy a peaceful and progressive community.”

Mayor Te upon conferment of her Sangguniang Bayan Members will schedule a ceremonial program for the formal turn-over of drug-cleared certificates to all its barangays.##

COMMUNITY EXPRESSES APPRECIATION TO THE GOVERNMENT IN REHABILITATING BORACAY

The Boracay Community releases statement 19 days before Boracay Island re-opening to the national government's effort in rehabilitating the Island.

The Boracay Community expresses its appreciation to His Excellency President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, by his exercise of political will through the decision to close and rehabilitate the island. Boracay’s rehabilitation is a strong testament of the government’s dedication to prioritize environmental preservation over economic gains.

The Boracay community recognizes the Boracay Inter Agency Task Force’s (BIATF) achievements as an effective practice of collaboration among different agencies - which proves it is indeed possible to succeed through cooperation.

Through the government’s efforts, water quality around the island has significantly improved. Particularly noteworthy is the ongoing major construction works, on the long delayed drainage system which the community had been clamoring for over several decades. Successful project implementation has removed illegal boarding houses and replaced old electrical posts among others.
 
The project has considerably helped awaken the concern of the community and advance the interest of sustaining the island for the future. It has improved sanitary conditions for the local community, and brings environmental standards in line with expectations for the country’s premier tourism destination.
   
The closure albeit a painful learning experience, has positively resulted in closer and collaborative community relations. Nineteen (19) days before the island’s reopening to the world, the island’s several stakeholder organizations remain steadfast in its commitment to support actions necessary for the betterment of our home, Boracay.

We accept that the Boracay rehabilitation is a work in progress, and we are committed to help every step of the way.

MAYOR NG NABAS NAGDRIVE NG AMBULANSIYA MULA NABAS PATUNGONG KALIBO

NAKUNAN NG larawan ang pagtulong ni Nabas Mayor James Solanoy sa isang pasyenteng na-stroke matapos siya mismo ang magdrive sa ambulansiya madaling araw ng Biyernes.

Nabatid na, pasado ala-1:00 ng madaling araw ay nasa munisipyo pa sya nang dumating ang pamilya dala ang kanilang pasyente na inatake umano ng stroke.

Siya umano ang nagdrive ng ambulansiya mula sa munisipyo ng Nabas patungo sa isang pribadong ospital sa Kalibo sakay ang pasyente.

Mababatid na naibalita rin ang paglilingkod ng alkalde nang siya rin ang nagdrive ng ambulansiya sakay ang manganganak na na Ati.

Ayon kay Mayor Solanoy siya aniya ang nagdridrive palagi kapag pagod na ang kanilang driver.##

SUSPENSIYON NG ECC SA MGA ESTABLISYEMENTO SA BORACAY INALIS NA NG DENR

INALIS NA ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources ang suspensiyon ng Environmental Compliance Certificate sa Boracay.

Base ito sa inilabas na Memorandum Circular No. 2018-14 ng Kagawaran araw ng Biyernes kaugnay ng takdang pagbubukas ng Isla sa Oktobre 26.

Inatasan rito ni DENR Sec. Roy Cimatu ang Environmental Management Bureau Regional Office 6 na alisin ang suspensyon ng ECC sa lahat ng complying hotels and establishment sa Isla.

Mababatid na nagsimula ang suspensiyon ng ECC sa Boracay buwan ng Hulyo sa pamamagitan ng Memorandum Circular No. 2018-03 para suriin ang compliance ng mga establisyemento.

Sa kabila ng lifting, sinabi ni Cimatu na magpapatuloy ang pagrereview ng binuong komitiba sa mga ECC at Environmental Management Plans ng mga establiahments at ang pagsusumite ng report sa kanya.

Magpapatuloy rin umano ang kanilang pagsusuri sa mga Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC).

Ang mga ito ay para masiguro umano na sumusunod sa mga environmental laws ang mga establisyemento at na walang nang mga paglabag.##

PARKING FEE SA KALIBO AIRPORT KINUKUWESTIYON NG SANGGUNIANG BAYAN

KINUWESTIYON NG Sangguniang Bayan ng Kalibo ang paniningil ng parking fee ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) sa Kalibo International Airport.

Nabatid na ipinapatupad ngayon ng CAAP ang paniningil ng Php20 na parking fee sa lahat ng mga behikulo na lumalagpas sa 10 minuto at dagdag na singil sa mga susunod na oras.

Sinabi sa Sanggunian ni bagong upong CAAP manager Engr. Eusebio Monserate Jr., ang paniningil ng parking fee ay base umano sa atas ng central office na pinatutupad aniya sa mga international airport na kanilang pinamamahalaan.

Paliwanag ni Monserate, ang pamamaraang ito ay para sa seguridad at para rin malimita ang mga sasakyang pumapasok at nagpapark sa bisinidad ng Kalibo airport dahil sa maliit lamang umano na espasyo dito.

Sa kabila nito, kinuwestiyon ng ilang SB Member ang paniningil ng airport staff na hindi nagbibigay ng resibo kung hindi ito hihingin sa kanila.

Nababahala kasi ang ilang opisyal ng Sanggunian na baka hindi napupunta sa tamang kalagyan ang perang nakokolekta at maulit ang parehong insidente dati sa nasabing airport.

Iginiit ng CAAP manager na dumadaan sa auditing ang kanilang koleksiyon at nireremit sa kanilang central office para umano sa operasyon ng nabanggit na Government Owned and Control Corporation.

Gayunpaman tiniyak ni Monserate na bibigyan nila ng pansin ang problemang ito sa resibo.##

45 anyos na Lalaki sa Batan, sinaksak patay!

Patay ang 45 anyos na lalaki matapos saksakin ng kapitbahay. Kinilala ang biktima sa pangalang Rizal Venus, taga sitio Agsam brgy. Camaligan, Batan, Aklan.

Kinilala naman ang suspek sa pangalang Christopher Dalida 35- anyos, residente rin ng nabanggit na lugar.

Sa imbestigasyon ng Pulisya. Kinumpronta raw ng biktima ang suspek dahil sa hindi magandang asal nito sa kanyang misis.

Mag aalas sais kagabi, dinalhan raw ng misis ng biktima ang suspek ng ulam, pero sa halip na pasalamatan nagalit raw ito at hinampas siya ng kawayan.

Nang malaman ng mister ang pangyayari agad itong sumugod sa bahay ng suspek para kumprontahin ito.
Agad raw bumunot ng kotsilyo ang suspek at sinaksak ang biktima.

Naisugod pa sa pribadong hospital ang biktima pero ideneklarang dead on arrival.

Naaresto ang suspek sa pamamagitan follow up operation ng Batan PNP.

Kinumpirma ng Madalag PNP ang balitang pinasok raw ng magnanakaw ang simbahan ng Katoliko sa Madalag, Aklan.

Tinangay raw ng di pa nakikilalang suspek ang libo-libong donasyon at pera ng simbahan.

Duda ang pulisya na minor de edad ang mga suspek.

May maliit raw na butas na nakita sa nakakandadong kwarto na pinaglagyan ng pera, na tanging bata lamang ang posibleng kumasya roon.

Patuloy pa ang imbestigasyon ng PNP para matukoy ang suspek.

NEGOSYANTE ARESTADO SA PAGTUTULAK NG DROGA SA KALIBO

INARESTO NG kapulisan ang lalaki na ito sa Oyo Torong St. makaraang mabilhan umano ng operatibo ng pinaniniwalaang marijuana.

Kinilala ang suspek na si Ronald Carion “alyas Alog”, 49-anyos, isang negosyante at residente ng nasabing lugar.

Ayon sa kapulisan nasabat nila mula sa suspek ang dalawang sachet ng pinaghihinalaang marijuana at dalawang Php500.

Ikinasa ng Kalibo PNP kasama ang mga tauhan ng Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit ang buy bust operation laban sa suspek gabi ng Sabado.

Mariin namang itinanggi ng suspek ang pagkakasangkot niya sa iligal na droga.

Nakakulong na siya ngayon sa Kalibo PNP at nakatakdang sampahan ng
paglabag sa Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.##
