Bagong Buhay Boracay Product Showcase 2018

In time for the reopening of Boracay Island, the Department of Trade and Industry - Aklan launches “Bagong Buhay Boracay Showcase 2018” at CityMall Boracay, Malay, Aklan on October 26 to 28, 2018 and will be participated by almost thirty (30) Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Large array of product selections such as decorative crafts and delicious food products will be made available during the three-day fair. Highlighted in this event are products produced by MSMEs affected by the island’s closure like festive gifts and decorative items, classy fiber-based fashion accessories, bamboo and wood welcome tokens, furnishings, souvenir items including processed foods. Also, a craft demonstration corner will be mounted to showcase the skills of local artisans in
Boracay.

Some products to be displayed will come from different municipalities which best represent their own creative skill and rich industry. These MSMEs are those tapped and assisted by the Negosyo Centers in terms of skills trainings and product development as part of Negosyo Center’s business advisory and other related assistance. Bagong Buhay Boracay Product Showcase will be an avenue for them to get exposed and be linked in the market as Boracay rises again.

This event is organized in partnership with CityMall Boracay, the Local Government Unit of Malay and the Provincial Government of Aklan.

PRODUCTS FROM BORACAY TO SHOWCASE IN ILOILO

The Department of Trade and Industry- Aklan gears up for its 16th Aklan Product Showcase which will be staged at the Event Center, Lower Ground in SM City, Mandurriao, Iloilo City on 27 August to 02 September 2018.

This year’s event is anchored on the theme “Bagong Buhay Boracay” which highlights products of MSMEs affected by the Boracay rehabilitation. Additional feature during the product showcase is the launching of “One Aklan”, an online marketing platform for Aklan products.

Thirty-eight (38) enterprises will offer distinct designs conveying Aklanons’ creativity and passion. Festive season decoratives, natural dyed fabrics, trendy fashion accessories and souvenir items, and home and office furnishings as well as the famous meat and bakery products of the province will be displayed and made available for sale.

The Aklan Product Showcase is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. An opening program will be held on August 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Top officials of the Province of Aklan, DTI Officers, Members of the Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council and local exhibitors are expected to grace the opening.

This annual marketing event is organized by the Department of Trade and Industry-Aklan with the Hugod Aklanon Producers Association, Inc., and the Provincial Government of Aklan in partnership with the Provincial Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Council (PMSMEDC).

NEGOSYO CENTER SA ISLA NG BORACAY NAGBUKAS NA

Nagbukas na nitong Lunes ang Negosyo Center ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sa Boracay Island, Malay.

Ang launching ay pinangunahan nina Malay mayor Ceciron Cawaling, vice governor Reynaldo Quimpo, DTI Region-6 officer in charge Rebecca Rasco, at kinatawan ni senador Bam Aquino.

Kasunod ng paglulunsad ay nagsimula narin ang DTI sa pagsasagawa ng Negosyo Encounter at mga training para sa mga negosyante sa Malay. 

Ayon kay DTI-Aklan OIC Carmen Ituralde, layunin ng Negosyo Center-Malay na matugunan ang business registration ng mga Malaynon, at matulungan silang maging produktibo sa kanilang mga negosyo.

Ang ika-siyam na Negosyo Center ay binuksan sa Boracay Action Center sa brgy. Balabag sa nasabing Isla.

Walong Negosyo Center ang una nang binuksan sa lalawigan sa mga bayan ng Kalibo, Ibajay, Altavas, Numancia, Lezo, Makato, Libacao, at Malinao.

DTI-AKLAN MAGSASAGAWA NG ‘BALIK-ESKWELA DISKWENTO SALE’

Muling magsasagawa ng “Balik-Eskwela Diskwento Sale” ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Aklan ngayong buwan ng Mayo.

Sa Mayo 23, ang DTI-Aklan ay magsasagawa ng nasabing proyekto sa covered court ng Poblacion, Altavas; sa Mayo 25 sa covered court ng Poblacion, Nabas; sa Mayo 26 naman ay sa Tangalan public market.

Ayon sa DTI-Aklan, layunin ng proyektong ito ang mabigyan ng agaran at abot-kayang halaga ang mga estudyante at mga magulang sa mga school supplies at iba pang kagamitan sa paaralan.

Maliban sa mga gamit at pangangailangan sa eskwela, makakabili at makakapili rin ang taumbayan ng  mga pangunahing bilihin sa presyong may deskwento.

Nabatid na 21 distributor at retailer ang inimbitahan ng DTI para sa nasabing caravan na magbibigay ng nasa limang hanggang sampung porsyento deskwento sa presyo ng mga bilihin.

Ang klase ay magbubukas sa mga pampublikong eskwelahan sa Hunyo 5.

GONEGOSYO CENTER SA BORACAY NAKATAKDA NANG ITAYO AYON SA DTI-AKLAN

Inihahanda na ngayon ng Department of Trade and Insustry (DTI) - Aklan ang pagtatayo ng GoNegosyo Center sa isla ng Boracay.

Ayon kay Carmen Ituralde ng DTI-Aklan, ito na ang pangsiyam na GoNegosyo center sa lalawigan.

Ang iba pang mga GoNegosyo center ay nasa Kalibo, Lezo, Makato, Malinao, Numancia, Ibajay, Libacao at Altavas.

Sinabi pa ni Ituralde na ito pagkakataon para sa mga residente sa Boracay at sa mga maliliit na negosyante para magsimula ng negosyo at makakuha ng mga benepisyo sa gobyerno.

Ang GoNegosyo center sa probinsiya ay suportado rin Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Aklan at iba pang mga sektor.

Ang Negosyo center sa isla ay inaasahang inagurahan sa Mayo 8.

PANG-7 NEGOSYO CENTER SA AKLAN INILUNSAD NG DTI SA LIBACAO

Inilunsad ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Aklan at ng lokal na pamahalaan ang pangpitong Negosyo Center sa probinsiya sa bayan ng Libacao.

Ang nasabing Negosyo Center ay binuksan sa senior citizens building ng munisipyo umaga ng Miyerkules.

Kilala ang Libacao bilang pangunahing prodyuser ng aba

ca fiber at iba pang mga produktong pang-agrikultura.

Una nang inilunsad ng ang mga Negosyo Center sa mga bayan ng Kalibo, Ibajay, Altavas, Numancia, Lezo at Makato. 

Ngayong taon, nakatakda na ring ilunsad ng DTI-Aklan ang mga Negosyo Center sa mga bayan ng Malinao at Malay.

Ayon sa DTI, sa pamamagitan ng mga center na ito ay makapagsasagawa sila ng training at micro, small and medium enterprise development sa mga stakeholder sa mga nasabing bayan. 

Samantala, napag-alaman na sa pamamagitan ng mga Negosyo Center sa Kalibo, Ibajay at Altavas sa nakalipas na taon ay nasa 6,000 na kliyente na ang nabigyan nila ng business registratrion at business advisory services.
