THE LOCAL Government of Aklan thru the Provincial PESO was recently awarded as the Regional Winner in the Search for BEST PESO – Second Class Province Category during the 7th Regional Career Guidance, Employment Advocacy and Human Resource Congress spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 6 held at San Antonio Resort, Brgy. Baybay, Roxas City. Ms. Vivian Ruiz-Solano, Aklan Peso Manager, received the award on behalf of Gov. Florencio T. Miraflores.Present during the awarding ceremony were Regional Director Cyril L. Ticao, Provincial Director Joselito G. De la Banda, DOLE Iloilo Province, Ms. Carmela M. Abellar, OIC-Head DOLE Aklan, Ms. Arlyn E. Siaotong, OIC-Head DOLE Guimaras and Ms. Lucy U. Muralla, NSRP/PEIS Program Manager from DOLE Region 6 among others.
The delegates of the congress were the other Municipal PESO Managers and Guidance Counselors Network (GCNet) from Aklan along with other participants from Region 6.##
