The Provincial Government of Aklan spearheads its 63rd Foundation Anniversary Celebration with a month-long series of activities under the theme, “Aklan: Sustaining The March Towards Economic Self-reliance And Ideal Social Services”.
The main event on April 25 will push through with the following activities:
Thanksgiving Mass, 6:30 AM, Kalibo Cathedral Civic And Military Parade of 17 constituent towns, line agencies, schools, and the various socio-civic, and non-government organizations, 7:30 AM, from Pastrana Park to Goding Ramos ParkFlag-raising and Wreath-laying/ Floral-offering Ceremonies, 9:00 AMCommemorative Program, 10:00 AM, Augusto B. Legaspi Sports ComplexUnveiling of the Historical Marker of the XIX Martyrs of Aklan Tableau jointly sponsored by the Aklan Provincial Government through the Aklan Provincial Tourism Office and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), 3:00 PM, Goding Ramos Park.
