PRODUCTS FROM BORACAY TO SHOWCASE IN ILOILO

The Department of Trade and Industry- Aklan gears up for its 16th Aklan Product Showcase which will be staged at the Event Center, Lower Ground in SM City, Mandurriao, Iloilo City on 27 August to 02 September 2018.

This year’s event is anchored on the theme “Bagong Buhay Boracay” which highlights products of MSMEs affected by the Boracay rehabilitation. Additional feature during the product showcase is the launching of “One Aklan”, an online marketing platform for Aklan products.

Thirty-eight (38) enterprises will offer distinct designs conveying Aklanons’ creativity and passion. Festive season decoratives, natural dyed fabrics, trendy fashion accessories and souvenir items, and home and office furnishings as well as the famous meat and bakery products of the province will be displayed and made available for sale.

The Aklan Product Showcase is open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. An opening program will be held on August 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Top officials of the Province of Aklan, DTI Officers, Members of the Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council and local exhibitors are expected to grace the opening.

This annual marketing event is organized by the Department of Trade and Industry-Aklan with the Hugod Aklanon Producers Association, Inc., and the Provincial Government of Aklan in partnership with the Provincial Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Council (PMSMEDC).
