Two fishermen in Antique still missing according to Coast Guard

Coast Guard Antique and PCG Rescue vessel continue its search and rescue operation on the reported two (2) missing fishermen who were last seen fishing in the vicinity waters of San Pedro, San Jose, Antique last November 19, 2018 around 2:00 a.m.

They were identified by, Mr. Leomer Baldivia, 31 yrs old and Mr. Lawrence Cordova, 40 yrs old, all are resident of barangay San Pedro, San Jose, Antique.

They were last seen conducting fishing venture onboard of their fishing banca color white and green last November 19, 2018 around 2:00 a.m. at the vicinity waters approximately 20 miles from the shoreline of Brgy. San Pedro but failed to return home as of this date.

As of yesterday, November, 24, 2018, PCG dispatched its Multi Role Response Vessel MRRV 4411 BRP Cape EngaƱo to conduct Search and Rescue Operation and to scour the vicinity waters of San Jose, Antique and Palawan to locate said missing fishermen.

Mr. Leomer Baldevia, the missing fisherman was last seen wearing black jacket with black pajama while Mr. Lawrence Cordova was last seen wearing green shirt with blue short.

PCG advised the fisherfolks passing in the area to be on the lookout of said missing fisherman and to render necessary assistance and report to the nearest Coast Guard Unit if sighted.##
